One finnish guy went to Norway for work. One of his friend borrowed his car for a while. That friend was caught drunk while driving. Now listen to the unbeleivable rules in Norway and the senteneces that they ( yes, both of them got it) got.
The guy who lended his car(yes, just because he has lended the car, he was not drunk, he didnt break driving rules !!!!)
Lost his drivers license for 8+18 months.
Lost his heavy truck drivers license
totally.Fined
4800 euros + 240 euros ( around 4,50,000 tk) for court expenses and
18 days unconditional prison sentence.(Yes 18 days in prison)
The guy who drove drunk:Lost drivers license for 2 years,
26 days conditional prison sentence,
( So he doenst necessarily have to be in prison given he follows some pre-conditions)
Must participate 6 times to alcohol addicts group sessions, if he really participates all six times, he will totally lose his prison sentence.
Fined: ~1200euros ( around 1,00,000 tk)

Oh, that guy who lended the car to his friend, also went to the highest supreme court and was denied. Poor poor guy !!
Also Tuomas informed me that, in Norway you can NEVER take any hand off while you are on a motor bike. If you are caught any hand off the bike handle, the government will take your bike, no mattery why your hand was off ( I guess it doesnt matter if a bird shits on you or your helmet screen is fully dusty)
