A Bangladesh Bank circular says from now, subscribers would be able to pay utility bills online from their bank accounts and also transfer funds to other banks.It said that transactions between buyers and sellers can also take place online, enabling e-commerce facility in the country.
Commercial banks have been also asked to facilitate online credit card payments in local currency.
